Gray should be fighting someone higher ranked imo. Gray has beaten top contenders like Jim Miller, Florian, Nate Diaz and Guida.

Lauzon has beaten guys like Jeremy Stephens, Guillard and Jamie Varner....Quite a big difference there. Lauzons good, and you gotta take a leap up eventually if you keep winning, I just see it being a bad matchup for him.

Imo Gray has a good chance to beat anyone and everyone at LW. And im not even a big fan, I just think he has a good skillset for the division.

I agree with everyone saying Gray should be fighting a higher ranked opponent but at the same time I'm excited for this fight.

Its a big step up for Lauzon, thats for sure. Im really excited for this fight. It should be some pretty good fireworks. I really dont think I can pick a winner in this one.. as much as Gray should have this, Joe is tough as nails. I mean it takes a special kind of fighter to finish Jens Pulver in his UFC debut.

I think Melvin still gets a boost in the rankings based on perception of raw potential. Bisping has won more ranked fights than he has...

Ah damn...i love both of these fighters...I'll say Joe had a very hard time with Varner and I think Gray is better than Varner in everything...therefore I think Gray takes it but I wouldnt be surprised if Lauzon upsets him in devastating fashion due to Gray getting too cocky

I agree that this fight is strange. I don't know why they would put this together right now.

I hope the best for Lauzon but I expect Gray to take this.
