Reminds me of the Jason Miller & Nick Diaz weight drama.

@Cat and sonofsteven:
Eh sorry. I don't buy that one bit. One really has very little to do with the other. You're mixing two things that are completely seperate. Rousey MOVED to 135 before the steroid bust.
Cyborg getting caught really has little to do with Rousey leaving the division and now waving at Cyborg across the river with the belt in her hand. It's pure bullshit. Just calling it like I see it.
It's and unlikely for the fight to happen if it happens at 135. If Rousey wanted to put Cyborg in her place as bad as she claims, she'd move back up to 145 for one fight and beat her. Look at the facts, not the words.

I don't see moving down in weight for a title fight as running away from a division. 95% of the UFC fighters would change weight classes in an instant if it was for a title fight. I think we're also jumping the gun at Rousey having to change weight classes. She's only defended her belt once at 135.

A few things.
I think Rousey should agree to the catchweight if cyborg agrees to the follicle testing. Often, these statements are opening gambits and bear little resemblance to what occurs after negotiation and compromise.
I don't think Rousey ducked the 145 division because of Cyborg. I think she wanted to be a champion, and realized 135 was not only a shorter road, but a more optimal fit once she got there.
I do not want to hear her continue to call out Cyborg at 135 but I do agree with everything about PED testing. I'd even take it a step further: I think fighter suspensions for juicing should be reduced to 6 months. But I think they should get 3 years of VADA or follicle testing thereafter. And I think it should be at their expense. And if they fail again, boom, goodbye.
I also think people are in error about cyborg, I'm pretty sure she competed at 135 when she was younger, in that samurai storm minor league stuff, and in EXC. I remember doing more research when she first came on my radar, trying to see if you could trace changes in her physiology from her earlier career. Like many people, I remain convinced that she is a hardcore PED abuser. I understand she got popped for wistrol, a cutting agent, but most people who are looking for an edge that use PED's to bulk up are going to use an edge to cut weight as well. I feel she just got tested at the wrong time of year to illustrate the other shit she was on. Just my opinion.
Anyway, I'd like to see the fight. I don't think it should be immediate, as cyborg has to shake ring-rust and get some PR respect back. But I think it should happen, provided there is a ton of testing involved.

imo, if rousey is gonna do any shit talking and challenging cyborg, calling her out, then she should at least be making some concessions to make the fight happen. if youre gonna call someone out you should be willing to meet halfway

First, seems like Cyborg has forgotten that she is in fact NO LONGER the 145lb Champion. She was stripped of said title after her win was changed to a no contest.
Second. Her doctors think its a bad ideal for her to cut to 135. I wonder what their opinon was about her using using PED's to gain an unfair advantage??
Ronda has no reason to move up to 145 to challenge a former champ. You go where the gold is, and right now the only womens champ in SF is Ronda Rousey.

She was gonna get s title shot but she chose going down after 135 instead.

I firmly believe rousey beats cyborg at whatever weight. So let's adopt a new term I can't be a nut hugger as was pointed Ronda has no nuts. So what am I? A cunt hugger? A kitty licker? A snatch sniffer? Carpet bagger? Whatever it is I'm one.

Ronda has easily handled much weaker opponents and tossed them down. How would her cardio be after a round of fighting for a clinch/takedown because we all know grappling kills your gas tank a lot faster than striking.
Fact is, this is a very interesting fight and can go either way. Both definitely possess the skills to win. I just think Cyborg should get some fights in and Ronda stfu if she really doesn't have any interest in making this fight happen.
