f it is up to the doctors, the duel between Wagner Prado vs. Phil Davis can be scheduled for UFC on FX 5, on October 5th. The Brazilian was accidentally hit in the eye on their first fight, on the beginning of the month, and went through some tests last Friday.
“My eye doctor said I was good to go, that I can train again”, explains Prado, on an interview with TATAME. “He said he’s sending me the report so I can forward it to the UFC, authorizing me to fight again”.
UFC president Dana White said after the event that he intended to reschedule the fight to sometime early in October, but it depended on the doctors. Since they have said Wagner is ok to fight, the Brazilian waits for a definition of the organization.
“I don’t know (when the fight will be at), I’m waiting for them. If I can fight then it’s good. If it can’t happen let them chose another date. I’ll foward this to UFC and see what they decide”, concludes
