Specially when he says: "X fighter will never fight in the UFC again" hahaha

Chael will get a title shot if he achieves an impressive win over the runner.

Chael never fights for the LHW title ever...Jones said it pretty well in the article yesterday..Let's see how Chael fairs against wrestlers like Davis and Evans or a striker like Machida..I do not believe Chael can beat any of the 3 and his best chance would be against Davis and I believe he would still lose.

If you put Chael against anyone who can nullify his TD's and has decent strikes/BJJ he is screwed.

IMO Chael is going to retire after 2-3 more fights. He has said it himself that if he cant get a title he doesn't want to fight and after he stumbles into one of the above mentioned and gets owned he is pretty much out of options.

He will not go back to MW even if Anderson is done because he knows he could never beat Weidman...Truth be told I dont think he much wants any part in Munoz either and I imagine thats why Chael offerd to pay his medical bills once he got injured.

Part of me says it makes sense... but the other part really wants to see Jones vs. Sonnen... and i question Chael's ability to beat a top LHW.

Chael has more motivation than simply a title. That motivation is the same reason you go to work everyday.

I have seen it in interviews and I have read it in his book. A title is the only thing that motivates Chael he dont much like fighting if you cant already tell.. He has said if he has no clear route to a title he will move on to greener fields.

One thing about his Schtickk thats going good for him is that he'll likely get a job as a broadcaster or analyst or maybe even WWE

So, his continuing to hype up the second Anderson Silva match after the fight was set in stone had nothing at all to do with monetary reasons...

The guy has ambition and is in the upper echelon of the game for the money not simply for a belt. Sonnen can make that statement all he wants but he will not retire if he loses on his way to the LHW belt.

I dont wanna argue about it it's just how I feel. We will just wait and see I bet when Chael gets his ass kicked by anyone at lhw he is pretty much done fighting in the UFC he will not fight just to make money like a Rich Franklin.

How the fuck could anyone think it would have gotten him a shot in the first place? I don't care if knocks FG out in 21 seconds he won't get a title shot with just that in the LHW div.
