This is really unfortunate. I had him narrowly beating Benson the first fight and a decisive 49-46 in the last one. He's a great LW fighter and he should be the champ. But the sad reality of it is that if he stays at LW he's not going to get another shot at the title as long as Bendo is champ. I really hope he does great at FW and he gets a shot at the Aldo in a couple fights.

I think it would be awesome if Faber moved back up to featherweight to fight him....I think that can go down to be one of the greatest fights in UFC history

He gives up a bit of the speed advantage he had over the bigger guys but loses the size/strength advantage he gave up at LW. I think he'll not give up to much of a speed advantage to anyone outside of Aldo. With his takedowns though he'll be able to use his wrestling alot better now and actually be able to keep guys down better.

Outside of Aldo he beats anyone at 145 and I think he gives him a tough match but I'd take Aldo to win.

that's what i was thinking aswel. hopefully KZ recovers by end of this year so that they can make KZ vs. edgar for number one contender shot?

Not a HUGE fan of this by any means, Frankie is still easily a top3-2 LW depending on who you ask and could handle 90% of the LWs out there just fine.

Its not like Bendo is going to be the new Anderson or GSP holding the title for years to come. The LW title will change hands eventually, and if Edgar was still at LW winning, you know he'd get another shot.

Im not a big fan of him jumping over everyone at 145 with a single win either. If hes serious about staying at FW, then whats the rush? Let him get 2-3 solid wins under his belt.

(I like whoever said Edgar/Faber @ FW Thats been a dream matchup Ive wanted to see for a while now)

I personally thought he definitely lost the first fight to Henderson, but definitely won the second fight. It's kind of a shame to see him leave the division on that kind of note. He certainly might come back though. Like others are saying, I bet him and KZ fight for #1 contender at the end of the year.
