| Hendo=Goat with UFC 151 win?
Simple question. With a win over Jon Bones Jones on Sept 1st, would that make Dan Henderson the GOAT of MMA? Discuss....

Nope when you have lost to Rampage, Jake Shields and Silva NOPE.... I would gladly give him kudos for beating Fedor and the 1st man to officially beat Jon Jones (unless you count Hamil LOL)

I personally think he would be #2. Losing to Silva and Page make it hard for me to call him GOAT. I don't hold his loss to Shields against him because its pretty obvious from his performance that he had a back injury and I am sure if they had a rematch Shields would be k.o'd. He is a hell of a fighter and I agree he is the most decorated MMA fighter.
He is also in my top 3 for fighters I would like to have a beer with

GOAT is a tough thing to classify. When everyone was calling for Fedor to be named the greatest, he had really only fought for Pride. Even though he was past his prime, his American MMA showings quickly ended any GOAT discussion. The thing with Hendo is that he’s fought for pretty much every major organization… so even with losses to known fighters, it’s tough to argue that he didn’t fight the best in any given era. In my opinion, Hendo is already the greatest currently active MMA fighter and a win over Jones (although I don’t think it’s gonna happen) would solidify that notion. You could argue for Anderson Silva to be in the same category too. Other than those two, I really don’t feel there are many other GOAT contenders.

I can't really say that he would be the greatest of all time with that win but he would certainly add his name to the debate. Now if he wins impressively and defends the title a few times, I absolutely would consider him to be one of the greatest.

No such thing. Closest to that would be Anderson or future Jones if he continues dominating.

It wouldn't make him the absolute greatest of all time but who really is?
It would definitely make him ONE of the GOAT's, IMO.
There would be such an uproar if Hendo won. I can only imagine. Boards would be up in flames.

Anderson has said he wants no part of Jones, and Henderson's losses wouldn't be as bad as getting highlighted by an unranked Chonan.
For another indefineable subject, I think Anderson stating that he'll never fight Jones impacts my perspective of him p4p, and I don't even have Jones top 3.
