Personality-wise I don't like either of them.
I feel that Cerrone is far more well-rounded and has a significant advantage on the ground, but Pettis has the unpredictability of his striking. Toss-up for me but I think Cerrone would win.

I gotta take Pettis in this one. I have been really impressed by his fight IQ. Donald sometimes puts himself in bad positions due to his kind of "just come to scrap" mentality. Skill-set wise they are pretty similar...but with ^that and the fact that he is a bit younger, and is very athletic, I also expect him to improve a bit more than Cerrone from this point on, so I'll take Pettis by decision in a great fight.

Cerrone does have a grappling advantage but I don't see this fight hitting the mat. This will probably be a kickboxing affair. Pettis has speed and unpredictability on his side, whereas Donald has better technique and better combinations. This will be a tough one for the pick ems. I'll probably go with cowboy though.

I'll take Pettis in this fight. Either way it will be a great fight. Will the winner of this one challenge for the title after diaz vs bendo?
