An injury has forced Louis Gaudinot to withdraw from UFC on FX 5, officials on Wednesday announced.

In the flyweight's place steps octagon newcomer Phil Harris (21-9-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who will fight Darren Uyenoyama (7-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

Several previously reported fights also were made official for the event, which takes place Oct. 5 at Target Center in Minneapolis and airs live on FX and FUEL TV.

A welterweight fight between Mike Pierce (14-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Aaron Simpson (12-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) also is set for the event's preliminary-card, as well as a lightweight meeting between Yves Edwards (41-18-1 MMA, 9-6 UFC) and Jeremy Stephens (20-8 MMA, 7-6 UFC).
