Completely new respect for Anderson Silva if this is in fact true.

Anderson says he wants to stay at 185, people call him scared. Silva offers to take a short notice fight at 205 to save a card, people call him fake. The hate is hilarious.

The hate is hilarious. | Agreed. Silva is known for taking his camp and the fighters he helps very seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if he was willing to take a fight on short notice to keep a card and paychecks coming for fighters like those on the undercard.

Is that hate, or is it simply wanting more of the story because dana is known for spindoctoring information?

Nah he isn't fake because I believe he would have fought another LHW . But he is a cunt because he knew the UFC would not make it happen. He knew they wanted JJ on the card no matter what. He was clever. A cunt, but clever.

rh | Fair point. But I do think it's a bit much to say that Silva knew it was too late and was scheming to win positive PR. That's also a bit Machiavellian for the real world...
