I really don't see how Vitor wins this fight. Jones is going to be out for blood against his next several opponents. Vitor's a dead man walking. Staying on the outside would be senseless. His best bet is to rush Jones like everyone says but that is like running into a buzzsaw and hoping for the best. If Jones grabs a hold of Vitor, he's putting him on the canvas. He has so many advantages in this fight.
I was cheering for Vitor in the Rumble fight and was happy that he won but i'll be honest... there were moments that I was nervous for him. |
Cant remember those two fights well, aside from the finishes.
Vitor is not a good wrestler, but Jones doesn't react well when his opponents push forward. He has a tendency to run or even panic a bit when they get inside. Come to think of it, he has no counter striking from what I can recall. Which is why Vitor imo should go for broke.
I think Jones wins it, don't get me wrong but Vitor can definitely put him out. If Vitor lands one shot, he will pounce with 50 more. That's one thing I like about Vitor , his killer instinct. Rashad landed a few good shots on Jones and didn't follow through. Vitor has the experience, speed, and power to win this fight but Jones has Jackson which is a problem.
I think Jones will definitely look to ground and pound Vitor and avoid any stand up here.
