It sort of is, though not in a p4p sense. Not many people have finished BJ at lw or ww.

if gsp loses to condit, a rematch w/ condit would be more interesting to me than a superfight w/ anderson. i mean the point of such a superfight is that both guys are on dominant tears - if one loses, the fight loses luster.

also, i dont like the possibility of a catch-weight. if u have 2 champs fighting each other, it should be a title fight and i dont see anderson making 170.

Most people have no concept of what p4p was intended to mean. If dana or rogan say someone is p4p elite, that's enough for them.

But think of it this way...two fighters of equal skill face off. One is bigger than the other...isn't the bigger one supposed to win? If he does, does it "prove" that he's more skilled, or that he's bigger?

Would it be a considerably larger accomplishment for the smaller fighter to defeat the larger opponent?

as much as i hated seeing it, gsp "finishing" bj was somewhat impressive, even though i would attribute it more to bj being out of shape and having a huge gsp lay on him for 20 minutes. not to mention, it's the only time bj's ever been finished at all.
