Most of a fighter's paycheck does not come from that 4-5 figure purse. It instead comes from the promotional deals that being a fighter in the UFC allows you to have. While it is true that these fighters cannot support themselves an entire year on a purse, does a fighter who just broke into the organization with 0 drawing power deserve to be making alot?
Should the UFC have to pay for a dozen people to travel and for their accommodations? I don't think so. Could they? Of course they
could.
The fighter pay will only increase with the sport's popularity, but to think that it is the UFC's fault that the logistics for Stungun and his country are not easy, is inane.

It is already extremely hard to get in the UFC, and even if you do that, you will not get that much money.
Of course there are some fighters that make tons of money and are millionaires, but you can count them with the fingers of your hands. |
What percentage of actors or musicians make it big?
