No it wouldn't. DC wouldn't survive the weight cut. Not to mention he has personally went on record and said he has health problems that would interfere with just a dramatic drop in weight.

Like Roy Nelson he needs to stay fat and dangerous at HW.

In Machida and Shoguns defense they have both stoped by Jones. If they were to loose again they wouldnt be getting another title shot at LHW for a long time. Yes I would much rather see either of them fight Jones then Vitor. However I do hope that Vitor pulls a Serra on Jones.

DC I think would give Jones problems but I think the reach advantage would be to much for him to overcome.

I agree with RD but for different reasons. Why should DC drop to LHW? Only if Cain wins. If not there is no reason for him to drop. He is wrecking heavies, so no reason to cut, unless Cain wins.
