I think they should have done something when they knew Hendo was injured three weeks before instead of waiting til the last week.


Good thing about all these hate/troll articles is that they keep people talking about Jon Jones.

I've said in the past henderson should spoke up earlier, I'm sure he hoped it would heal... The blame falls on all involved. But man, even as a die hard jones fan you have to see what a pr nightmare this is for this jones. I love to watch jones fight, he is awe inspiring in the cage... But it's painful to see how his career outside the ring is unfolding...

Two things, the "old man and his knee" comment... really who cares. And about the people that say Jones should pay the other fighters salaries... this card was canceled because of UFC offering a watered down product. One fight was carrying the card. This should teach the UFC brass that they cant have a PPV were the fans are buying the card due to just one fight.

We would have already been talking about Jones vs Machida had Henderson not got injured. The fight was cancelled only because of Henderson.

You can't blame Jones for not wanting to defend his belt on 8 days notice. If that was Fedor instead of Jones would the lashback have been so vicious? I am willing to bet yall would be defending Fedor while casting blame on his management at the very most.

So to clarify Henderson's injury is why Jones vs Hendo didn't happen. The UFC event being cancelled was due to the UFC having a weak assed card and putting all their eggs in one basket....

Let me know if I'm lying.

Given how much time he's put in trying to get sympathy, I'm not sure he's actually trying to play the heel. And with this comment still being whiney and douchey, not just villainous, I'm still not convinced. I.e. Jones didn't say "fuck those guys, ain't my problem," he said "whaaa they were mean to me."

We'll see; maybe he just sucks at playing a heel right now now, but anyone with self respect would at least try to play the villain that fans look at as a badass (e.g. Sonnen).

I'd really love to see Jones embrace the heel. All the things I've disliked about him (e.g. attitude, questionable contact after the bell, looseness at throwing hits that are very close to being illegal, etc.) make him a perfect bad guy.

I think this is funny.

Even before 151 got cancelled the Jones haters were coming out for whatever reason they could find. If someone posted a picture of Jones eating a hamburger people would have called him a cow murdering asshole. If someone posted a picture of Jones eating a salad people would have called him an asshole for not supporting the meat market.

Well, they got what they wanted. The guy publicly mishandled a situation he should have never been put in in the first place.

Why should he pay the fighters from the card? Zuffa fucked up, not Jones. He lived up to his end of the contract. They failed to have a backup plan, which is so stupid I can't wrap my head around it. They know how common injuries are and they have an event that is so weak that one injury can kill it and have no backup plan. Someone should have been fired for that, and it shouldn't have been a fighter.

After all of this I'm just as big of a Jones fan as Ive ever been. Actually I respect him a bit more for not letting Sonnen talk his way into a title shot he didn't deserve. I could honestly give a shit how he handled the mess in public. At least he was more professional than the president of his company.
