Me thinks you thinks that my description of Stann was a knock on the guy. Not at all mane. Just painting a picture of how, IMO, Stann's skillset is given too much credit based off of him being being GI-Joe. I admire the hell out of his bravery. But similar to the way Bisping's skillset is discredited for him being a dick, Stann's skillset gets more credit (though not quite as intensely) than it should because he is such a wholesome guy. Not the fault of either guy but it happens.

Brian Stann is a true American Hero. He may not be the greatest fighter ever, but I certainly respect his service. I think Bisping will win, but if I had the chance to shake one hand in the UFC, it would be Brian Stann.

I would never use the words "true *insert country* hero" to describe any solider who served my country without knowing the man, as all he was doing was following orders in an illegal and unnecessary war that has driven our countries broke, whilst increasing the risk of terror attacks.

Yes, I believe he is a "true" American hero. I also served my country and neither one of us started the war. He was awarded the silver star, shown on the History channel, and wrote a book. So no I don't personally know him, but I have researched the topic. He kept all the men in his platoon alive while holding out for 6 days. I believe that to be heroic.
You can disagree with the war while still respecting the people of your country who serve, IMHO. We don't choose the wars we just show up when called.

Nobody from mine, or my fathers generation has died for mine, or any US citizens freedom in war.
Stann is just another solider. No biggy. I'm not trying to troll, but when I see those words it kinda makes me think "hmm, has somebody been indoctrinated?" World war 1 and 2 were about hero's because they were fighting for the freedom of our countries, not the wars you or Stann has fought in.
I have loads of member on here trying to get a rise outta me on every occasion, even when it's not in subject. Hoss is particularly guilty of this but nobody will mention when another member is clearly wrong and talking out there arse in argument with me, so its safe to assume there is another forum for you special infinitely repped members to talk amongst yourselves in. You guys troll me trying to get a rise out of me, and you know it. Would Hoss even get publicly told off for posting a gif of Bisping getting KO'd now as a reply?
