I personally am a Bisping fan, because I enjoy watching him fight, I love his fight style, and because to me he just has a very typically British sense of humour in that he's brash and 'rude' but doesn't mean a word, but would never tell you as much (it's no different that explaining a joke once you've dropped the punchine).

The British sense of humour is typically very dry and 'deadpan' in so far as it's not uncommon to say something inappropriate or harsh and not say 'oh, I'm only joking'... You just kind of assume the people you're with 'get' irony and sarcasm and understand it's a joke, even fit wasn't delivered as one. That, to me, is why so many people hate Bisping, because they just don't get his humour, or aren't used to people like him.

Also, and please fellow Brits, feel free to jump in if you think I'm wrong, but this 'brashness' is more common amongst Northerners. I'm from the South but my family are Northern (Newcastle, why aye!) and the NOrtherners tend to be much more straight-talking and to-the-point in the way they talk.

Rather than understanding that he is a trash-talker with a typically British style, it seems most guys on here look past his fighting skills, and just think 'oh he's ass, and therefore is terrible fighter too. Be honest with yourselves a little bit.

I'm not a Stann fan, I'm really not into the whole 'all-American' superhero type rubbish, but I'm honest enough to acknowledge Stann has dangerous stand-up and could plausibly put Bisping out cold. However, I just don't see it happening, Bisping will not make mistakes like in the Hendi fight,he'll be wary of the hands if Stann and I think he'll frustrate him for the UD.

Why would there be a super-secret forum for the aforementioned posters to bitch about you behind your back when they (myself included) more than happy to do so in the main forum???? Isn't that WHY your having this pathetic little pity-party?
Has it ever occurred to you that there may be OTHER reasons why you get ripped on - and if so, what do you think those reasons might be?
