The UFC has added to the list of Asian MMA talent the promotion has been acquiring of late with the recent signing of Jon Tuck. Fighting out of Guam, the undefeated lightweight makes his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel TV 5: Franklin vs. Le, where he will face off with Tiequan Zhang.
Tuck (6-0) has been sterling in his MMA career, ending every single one of his bouts within the first round. The “Super Saiyan” also holds the distinction of being one of only two men to defeat ONE FC superstar Eduard Folayang, who he knocked out with one massive overhand right in just eight seconds. Tuck most recently competed in The Ultimate Fighter: Live, losing a hotly contested decision to eventual finalist Al Iaquinta in the preliminaries.

interesting that he competed on tuf and lost the fight to get into the house. i like the idea of fighting your way in, but at the same time, it sort of takes away from your hype if you lose and then later get signed by zuffa. che mills is another example. at least jon tuck is still technically undefeated though.
