| Pitbull on Bahadurzada: ‘It would be great to shut him up’ Pitbull on Bahadurzada: ‘It would be great to shut him up’ Quote: How was recovering from the injury you had?
It was fine, thank God. I did exactly what the doctor and my therapeust told me to and I'm training again now. I'm back, and this first week is like a 'full contact' training after three months of recovery. My muscles are tired, but I feel great. You and Baharduzada exchanged messages on Twitter “scheduling” the fight. Do you actually hope to fight him?
At this point, especially after UFC 151 was cancelled, I fight anyone. I was hoping to fight later this year, but since UFC cancelled an edition I guess I'll only fight in January now. If it works out, in Brazil. It would be great to shut (Siyar) up, but I fight whoever Joe Silva (UFC matchmaker) pair me up with. I have to fight someone. What are your thoughts about him?
He's nothing compered to the level of competition I'm used to. I'm fighting in the UFC for almost seven years and I had never had an easy fight. He's very cocky and I love fighting people who talk too much. It motivates me and brings out my best. Do you believe on your strikign skills to knock him out?
Absolutely! I train with the bests at ATT. Coach Katel Kubis and me get in sync more and more. I've never had striking problems when fighting, and it's not Baharduzada who's the first one to bring me that kinda danger. What are your thoughts about his win over Paulo Thiago?
I guess... No, I know he got pretty lucky against Paulo Thiago. If they fought again it would be totally different. I guess Paulo Thiago lost a lotta weight for that fight and couldn't rehydrate correctly, só when he got punched in the heat, Thiago went down. And when your brain is dehydrated, any punch that is landed in your head can turn you off. The division is very busy and there are curretly two belts. What are your thoughts about GSP vs. Condit?
I guess GSP wins, but he hasn't fought for a long time and it could get in his way. But if it doesn't, GSP wins. But it doesn't matter to me. Let him keep this title for now because I'm gonna get there and grab this title and bring it to Brazil, to Ceara and ATT. It's just a matter of time. Believe in God and punch them!
| Pitbull on Bahadurzada: ‘It would be great to shut him up’ :: TATAME Siyar Bahadurzada fires back to Thiago "Poodle" Alves Quote:
“Alves was trying to duck me, but I went after him on Twitter. Now his feelings are hurt and wants to shut me up? I had to go after him on Twitter to make this fight happen for the fans”, Siyar shoot back, on an interview with TATAME.
Thiago Alves and Siyar Baharduzada would fight at UFC 149, but both were forced to leave the card due to injuries.
“He didn't want to fight me, according to insiders (laughs)”, the Afghan assures, keep poking Alves back. “And yes, I'll turn him into a poodle! Just wait and see the interesting transition from a pitbull into a poodle during the fight”.
Thiago told TATAME that the former Shooto world champion over Paulo Thiago, with a 40-second knockout, was a lucky shot. As he read it, Baharduzada could not help but laughed.
“And if he thinks beating Paulo Thiago was luck... Tell him to come spar with me at Blackzilians in his city, it'll change his mind and even his intentions of fighting me. I'll predict the same "luck" against the poolde as against Paulo Thiago”, states.
Despite all that, Baharduzada remains respectfull to Paulo Thiago, athlete whom he defeated on the first edition of the show in Sweden.
“With all due respect to Paulo Thiago, who is a classy fighter and actually didn't try to duck me and took the fight, unlike Alves”.

I can see this fight going either way. I like both of these guys so I think I'll be disappointed to see either if them lose haha. I think Alves will take it too though.

It's a huge step up in competition for Siyar. And while he's got a solid record, I think the Thiago fight is getting too much credit given that he didn't actually have time to showcase.
Alves takes it.
