I totally agree that they shouldn't be able to stop a fight just to check a replay. That would be just plain foolish.

However, your example of Lesnar vs Couture isn't a very good one. A punch behind the ear is perfectly legal.

Is not the back of the head ears back considered a illeagal hit? If not I stand corrected.

I get what you're saying but no, behind the ear, like where Lesnar hit Couture or where Dos Santos hit Velasquez is still considered to be the side of the head and consequently legal.
