and again yourself. I'm sorry, you just said it was B.S. and because of the hype surrounding Glover and the risk of being hilight reeled he and shown the door that he lacks the motivation to fight him. Sounds like a thinly veiled reference to being scared.
I'm working so I'm not going to go back and quote 5 or 6 people. Everyone read the same damn thread I did and the statements are there. Except yours of course. You obviously weren't implying he was afraid to fight Glover. You're just misunderstood. | Quote:

cant believe that anyone honestly thinks that rampage is scared of glover... look at all he has fought... Jones, Machida, Evans in recent years... but glover is soo good that he pulled out of the fight...
And when has Rampage been "highlighted" in the UFC... Never. Jones is the only one to even finish him in the UFC... You'd have to go back to pride against Wand or Shogun, and Rampage is a much different fighter now. Quote:

When you're at the top you mustn't worry about antagonizing people with well-rationalized business decisions. But, explain your motives to the fanbase anyway you can and use social media to your advantage to protect your brand. Don't self sabotage like Jones has been doing. | So, how is that different from what Jones did... He didnt want to fight someone on 8 days notice.. but didnt turn anyone down with a months notice or turn someone down completely...

Rampage ducked out of fighting Glover not out of fear, but out of logic.
Rampage's "injury" is just TOO timely IMO, it's the last fight under his ZUFFA contract, it is against a serious, well rounded killer with little mainstream cred, in what is probably going to be his last BIG TIME fight for the forseeable future. Figure in that he's probably terribly out of shape, uncommitted and probably doesn't care to utterly lose face in Brazil as he gets his ass kicked to the curb in embarrassing fashion(which is JUST what Dana wants), I really just think Rampage is drawing this thing out as long as he can until he finds a fight where he isn't especially challenged and then gets out of Dodge.

My qualm was with how he dealt with and continues to act towards the public.
Why bring up Jones... yet again? Does this really have to be in every thread for the next 3 months?

Perhaps maybe you're referring to Shogun not Rampage.

Perhaps maybe you're referring to Shogun not Rampage. | I explained myself once. I'm not gonna do it again.
