Sure why not. I like it. Doesn't do anything for the glover fast track but it would be fireworks.

Agreed, Maldonado has some solid boxing and utilizes body shots well. However what's up with Thiago Silva lately, I like that match up too.

Definitely. He's 2-0 in the UFC in my eyes.

The Thiago fight also sounds very good.

I actually love watching Maldonado fight. This would be great. Can't see too many people that are going to be pushing for the Glover fight, so why not?

Wouldn't make much sense to make this fight. Glover was supposed to be fighting in the co-main event. He should be fighting a top guy. Maldonado isn't going to sell many PPVs but it would make for an exciting fight.

I like watching him fight too but this fight really isn't good for anyone. If Glover wins this, he doesn't move up in the rankings because Maldonado isn't even in the top 15. Not to mention that this would be Fabio's third straight loss and would run the risk of getting cut, which no one wants to see.

Now, if Maldonado were to win, it wouldn't be great either. He still wouldn't break the top ten and it slow down the momentum of a potential future title contender.

All of this doesn't really matter because this fight won't happen.
