Jon trying to tell the mass's what they should think of you isn't working. Compare it to the mass's have tried to tell Roaddawg what to say and that hasn't worked either.lol. rh has even failed
My personality is too strong to let random people define my character. God, family, friends... at the end of the day that is all that matters.
Jones needs to stay true to himself and let people think whatever they hell they want to. He is not going to sway public opinion one way or the other. There is no point in him worrying about things out of his control.
However he can control what goes on in the octagon... and that is where it really counts. Jones better learn to say fuck the masses with the quickness.

I am baffled at how Jon Jones can continue to irk me. Yes, he's young and will make bad decisions, but that is all that he seems to continue to make. And when he speaks through the media, he never says the right things. He makes it too evident that MMA is just a job for him, and not an endeavor of passion. He has easily become the villain that I want to see lose his belt, and I hope this happens soon.

I disagree with this statement. The work that Jones puts in the training the discipline his performance, his health all these things show otherwise. He has passion to win and perform flawlessly which is why he refused to take a bs fight on 3 days short notice.
Your accussation would be more accurate if you were talking about where Rampage is right now. He has made no secret that he wants to do other things. He is like that coworker who comes to work only because he or she has to. When its go time they are out the door with the quickness regardless of any work they had pending. To me Jones' passiion and dedication isn't up for debate. That however doesn't mean he shouldn't make smart decisions in regard to his health, well being and career.
Hell I have passion for what I do but I would be lying to you if I told you I didn't want that $ in return for my services.

His work ethic may not be up for debate. No doubt he trains hard because he wants to retain his lofty status. His passion is undoubtedly in question. A man with a passion to be a warrior fights anytime, anywhere with NO notice. Especially against a guy coming off a loss and moving up in weight class with virtually no chance of winning. A man with a passion to conquer doesn't need an excuse to prove his greatness, just an opportunity.
Jones wants to win for the $$$'s only. That is his weakness. He's a self proclaimed business man. That's noble and there isn't any shame in being the most successful man you can be in your industry. You owe that to yourself and your family. Some guys fight because they love it and they'll hang on to it for as long as they can. Jones already stated he only started fighting to avoid being a failure in his families eyes compared to his brothers. He complains of the training camps and generally everything associated with fighting. I don't believe he has a passion for fighting or a warriors spirit. He just happens to be an excellent fighter. It's his tool for success. I honestly believe he'll crumble in a grueling fight.
If you just mute the above video and let it go on... would you not swear this is a video of an Al Qeada terrorist being interrogated?.... minus the whole biblical tattoo of course
If there is a God, he most certainly doesn't care about athletic endeavours if he doesn't care about peace on Earth. Hahaha.
There was a wide receiver in the NFL last year that dropped a long touchdown pass to upset and beat the team favored to win. In the interview after the game, he blamed god for making him drop the ball and said god must not have wanted his team to win. LOL some people are fruit cakes

Do you honestly think GSP would take an 8 day short notice fight against a fighter? Or that he would fight anytime, anywhere with no notice? Comeon son....That's way too extreem. You can be a champion and still protect your legacy. A true warrior knows when to pick his battles, remember what Mr. miagi taught us.

I don't think I mentioned GSP and I don't think it's too extreme. I doubt GSP would take the fight for the same reasons. The same reason Silva will step in and save a card only if he can fight a no risk fight or makes a challenge to a lower division opponent for a "super fight". I don't believe any of the above have great passion, but if GSP is willing to fight Silva then he has more than the other two. They're all three great fighters, but I don't believe they have a fighters spirit. You can be great at something and not necessarily love it or live for it.
