While DREAM ended months ago, there was a small amount of talk that something might happen in the future with the promotion. Apparently, the management of the company has had enough. The higher ranking officials have all gone their own ways and it was more or less just remnants of an old company. A decision had to be made, and the shot callers decided that there were no alternatives but to shut down.

There have reportedly been meetings between former PrideFC brass of reforming in 2014. Certain stipulations from the Zuffa buyout of PrideFC prohibit some of the management from getting into MMA until 2013, which would be the equivalent of 5 years after the closure of PrideFC, officially.

RIP Dream! They made some very nice shows!

They lacked important names, but their shows were in a PrideFc style.
I really wish ONE FC makes their shows in a PrideFc style, with a white ring, the blue gloves and all that stuff.

Hopefully PRIDE doesn't come back. It won't be the same. Most of the stars are retired or in the UFC.

The only part of all that I truly disliked was the roped ring instead of cage . Not for the shock value of it being a cage or anything but I hate seeing a fight re-started just because they were on the ground and at the edge of their combat zone. That and seeing the guys they hired just to tug on the ropes from the outside when fighters got a little tied up in them? Seems fuckin shady to have anyone messing around like that.
I doid however love the soccer kicks and stomps!
