I don't see how you claim he's close to title contention... But this is definitely his fight to lose. Nick doesn't pose takedown problems and needs to be weary of Philippou's power.

I don't see Nick's kicks being enough to shake Philippou out of a very dominant boxing approach.

I like Philippou for this fight. Ring's UFC run hasn't impressed me too much and I felt his fights with both Fukuda and McGee were razor close(I had him losing both). OK matchup.

Yeah, I haven't been all the impressed with Ring either. I also had Mcgee winning their fight. This fight is going to stay standing and Consta is going to get the KO.

i like nick ring (even if he seems a lil curious), but phillippou's got this.

and i would agree, with four straight wins, he is on a roll toward title contention. a win over ring would surely get him a top middleweight, possibly boetch if he loses to weidman.
