I don't really have a feeling one way or the other. I do think this might be smoke and mirrors. I'd be surprised if Jones thinks his handspeed is in anyway comparable to Vitor. If he does, he's playing into his opponents only advantage over him. I don't think Jackson is going to allow that as even a remote possibility.

If Vitor does win, I don't think he holds the belt long. I think there will be a new LHW champ by 2013.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jones got an immediate rematch for the title if he lost either.

I don't see Vitor ekeing out a decision win. I can't imagine Zuffa giving Jones an immediate rematch if he get's TKO'd or KTFOd. I would imagine Shogun gets the next opportunity while dana vents his spleen on Henderson and Machida by making them fight each other.

If Jones does get KO'd--an obviously ponderous IF--maybe he'll agree to fight Glover Texieira.

I don't think there is any question that he's an ambassador of MMA. I think the question is whether he's a good one or not.

People seems to grab onto the size issue harder after he made his previous opponents look terrible. Former LHW legends and all that jazz. Before the fights, people sing a different tune. Afterwards, it's "Oh, Jones is just bigger." Because being bigger always equals success.

I don't see anyone else you would be directing this to besides me. I deeply apologize if stating my differing opinion on Jon Jones brings "interweb drama" and causes you stress. I could talk shit about Jones like everyone else, maybe gain a little rep for making jokes, but uh... no thanks.

It's just that I noticed this is at least the second or third thread you've posted in about Jones stating almost the same exact thing. You're tired of hearing about Jones and you hope Vitor puts him to sleep, period. That is totally cool! Not bashing you or anyone for opinions. Obviously I don't share the same view as you, so I posted the fact, because this is a forum I think.

It's been boring lately without MMA and i'd rather stir up some shit on here while waiting. Been dragging it out.

I think one huge advantage that Jones has is the fact that Jackson will be in his corner. Greg--IMO atleast-- will not let Jones just stand and try to bang with Vitor. I see Jones getting takedowns pretty much when he wants them and GnPing his way to a win.

I hope Jones is dumb enough to try to play the handspeed game though. cause that is Vitor's best shot at winning. Vitor has huge power in his hands and if he can land 2 in a row, we can see what Jones chin can take.

My brain says Jones wins via GnP rd 2, my heart says Vitor via KO rd 1
