All he was saying is, "Be patient Grasshoppa. Anything may and/or could happen before you are set for a title fight.". Yeah, I would have to agree with the previous statement that this article is a bad translation. You guys that are taking it so literal are funny too.

Guys, Really? He beat Leben for his titleshot, I agree with that, BUT Joe Silva makes the fights not Anderson Silva. I know thier last name is the same but it is 2 different people. At the point where he got the title shot he had NO PULL in the UFC

Yes. Furthermore, the comments are not that bad IMO. The way I took is anything can happen and that is true.

two things:

1. It would appear everything dumb that comes out of silva's camp is not directly from soares.

2. Weidman is going to have to move mountains before he gets what he's due.

EDIT: Im really trying to get behind silva's decisions, and Im real grateful for his stepping up to help out the UFC, but stuff like this really makes it difficult. God I miss chuck. I must be getting old.. "when I was your age, champions were champions...."

Well, to be fair, Guilherme Cruz said he said it. I'm not sure what that means.

It certainly doesn't do him any favors, but at least it's not as horrible as the drivel that soares routinely spews at us.

Yep. People can interpret it any way they want but that's what I read as well.

I'm sure the Bonnar comments were meant to try and sell the fight since I can't think of anyone that thinks Bonnar has a chance.

Move to HW? It could be done. Not that he'd be a huge one but it could be done. He could move to WW. Silva isn't the only one clamoring for the GSP superfight, fans have done that for him for years. Hell, from what I remember GSP used to say he wanted that fight, but now doesn't really seem interested.

Weidman will get his chance. That's what he said. Calm down, Anderson can't fight everyone at once.

Seriously, with all this complaining and bitching from the posters on here and from Diva Weidman, if he loses to Anderson, he needs to retire just like Chael should have. Ran his mouth for all that time and got his chest caved in lol.

The way I see it too.

Sometimes I wish these fighters wouldn't talk to the media. Other iratating thing Silva claiming to save the card when he turned a fight down do to nagging injuries.
