Anthony Johnson scores head-kick TKO of Jake Rosholt at XFN 9

A regional-show super fight in his former home state ended badly for Jake Rosholt, a former Oklahoma State University national-champion wrestler whom Anthony Johnson knocked out at Friday's Xtreme Fight League 9 event at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Johnson, who's now 3-0 since his UFC release earlier this year, used a second-round head kick to secure the win.
The fight, which streamed online as part of a card with boxing and kickboxing bouts, was the former welterweight's second straight win since a move up 205 pounds.
Quote:
"I've still got to get comfortable with this 205 (pound) body," Johnson said after the win. "Bear with me."
Neither fighter had a clear edge in the first round of the fight. However, Johnson began connecting regularly with strikes in the second. Quick timeouts after Johnson took an eyepoke and after Rosholt began bleeding from a facial cut only delayed the inevitable. Johnson landed a few big rights hands before ending the fight with the head kick at the 4:22 mark of the second round.

I still like Rumble. I'm hoping this is finally his right weight.
I'm honestly still amazed that dude made 170 ever. I've met him, he's my size and I know I'd have to detatch major limbs and organs to make anything near 170
I personally think he sacrifices too much at LHW, as alot of his advantages at WW were in part, size-related and going up against some of the better LHWs, I think alot of his work will be negated.
Athleticism aside, I just haven't been too impressed with his three wins outside of the UFC. Jones and Rosholt aren't world-beaters and while I think he's got alot of raw tools and his standup has alot of promise, he's got alot more work to do before I take him seriously at LHW.
