Yes, Ebersole took the fight on really short notice and looked REALLY flat, Head didn't look too great in it IMO coming out with the win, but Ebersole on any day is a tough out. As far as Abedi goes, I'm on the record saying he may look like Tarzan, but fights like Jane, so that win does nothing for Head in my eyes.
He had trouble with Ring and I think Pyle gives him more of the same, Head's most impressive win was against Gerald Harris, who has been extremely inconsistent, so I really don't think too highly of him going into this fight.
That said, I'm a huge Mike Pyle supporter and think he's an incredibly well rounded fighter, with endless tools at his disposal. I think he takes this fight wherever it happens to go.
