"You know, I've never butted heads with him. I've never headbutted him either [laughs]. The conversations we've had have been, 'Thank you', 'Yes sir', 'No sir', things like that. Shane Carwin is the former UFC champion. He's the greatest thing. I love that guy. I think he's awesome. I have no ill will toward him. The thing is, I don't really think about Shane Carwin. He's not in my everyday life. I am gonna fight him, and then I'll forget him, just like everybody else has."

The concussion that Carwin gives him will probably make him forget alot of things.

I like both guys so I don't really care about who wins, but I do like the trashtalk between them so far, keep it up.

Former UFC champion?

I was thinking about how I see this fight playing out, and I came to the conclusion that the longer the fight goes, the more I like the fat guy. Has Roy Nelson ever had a cardio advantage going into a fight before? :grinsmile1:

All former interim champ really means is that the champ took a vacation before he kicked your ass. I mean no disrespect by saying that, but if they end up winning the fight then nobody is ever gonna call them the former interim champ.
