To be honest, outside of Glover, Cormier and Sonnen i dont hear many people calling out Jon Jones.
Chael says it best "If your all scared of a 23 year old kid turn your gloves in, sign the pink slip and show yourself the door, the one guy that says he gets to fight him comes out and says "but i dont want to fight him.." well if you dont wanna fight him...go!! this is a business to become CHAMPION. All these guys wanna tell everybody they are in the UFC but dont want to carry the heavy water. Look challenge Jon Jones if you are at 205"
Ariel then asks; "i know you fight at 185, but if the UFC did offer you that fight (with jones) would you take it?"
Chael responds with; "I will fight any man god ever made, period."
^^^^thats how every fighter should be when it comes to fighting (IMO)

| That I agree with. Once the UFC says you're fighting opponent "X", that's who you fight.

We all get it...
Things change when its on 8 days notice...
how hard is that to understand...
the last week is devoted to weight cutting and media... how much game planning and drilling can they do to actually prepare for the fight...

Chael will be chael and jones will be jones, the fight will go down as the biggest fight in UFC history thanks to chaels hype, TUF and UFC ads. thats how i see it playing out, and as a bones/sonnen fan im 100% fine with it
CM | How would Jones vs Sonnen be the biggest fight in the UFC history? It would not be even close. It is actually a complete mismatch, almost a freak show.

CM | Sonnen makes those statements because he WANTS A BELT. He has never tasted UFC gold, and he never will taste UFC gold. His biggest accomplishment will forever be that he gave silva a tough challenge when nobody expected him too.

Silva could retire, and Sonnen is very capable of putting a few wins together.

and to CT so what if he never gets to wear gold, being the guy that beat AS's ass for 4 1/2 rounds is a pretty good accomplishment on account of know one else being able to say they did the same thing
