Now while I've never been one to bash the refs (although they make some horrible decisions at times). What I saw yesterday was just a disgusting display of officiating.

We saw numerous fighters grabbing the cage yesterday, no biggie but annoying. We saw Fitch actually sit in mount and pour down strikes on his opponent for maybe a minute and a half to two minutes while Silva wasn't even defending himself intelligently. He pretty much gave up and the ref didn't stop it. Also cant forget the quick stand ups in some of the fights.

And Maldonado, I mean I'm fucking speechless here. This fight seriously looked like it had potential to give us the first death in the cage. Maldonado has the heart of a fucking lion but wobbling the who fight after that first onslaught from Teixeira. How the fuck can a guy who's priority is the safety of the fighters, let this shit continue ?

All these refs should be fined a hefty fine and/or terminated altogether, this fight had some shitty "officiating" , if you can even call it that.

agreed..the prado fight was pretty amusing actually with how amny times he grabbed the cage. i did think there were severaLinstances where there fights were stood up even whuile there was action on the ground, and the glover fight especially...just because maldonado stayed on his feet the whole time glover was caving his face in, doesnt mean he should be allowed to and imo, it should have been stooped way earlier

I always get nervous when I see either Yamasaki in the cage. Those guys are both down right horrible at what they do and they should be fired.

Never really had a problem with the yamasaki brothers till that last Brazil card. But that Maldonado fight is stuck in my head, there's no way they should continue officiating fights.

I'll give you the stand ups were quick but I've never had a problem with Mario or his brother.

Exactly what im saying, I never had a problem asides a little bad call here and there up till that last Brazil card (before 153), where Diego nunes was disqualified for "hitting" his opponent in the back of the head.
