Alright...
So let's see...
No Machida... not a big enough draw... No Hendo... cause he's too old... and No Cormier... cause he's not "well known enough"...
Man, whatever happened to fighting?
Maybe the Yankees shouldn't play the Blue Jays... you know... since it wouldn't "do anything for them" if they beat them.
Cormier is on a tear and if he dropped to LHW he would be a GREAT fight for Jones.
You know... provided the endorsement deals are right... and the PPV numbers are good... and Jones gets a full 12 week camp... and the UFC commits to two 1/2 hour specials... and he gets a bowl full of M&M's with all the green ones picked out... and the moon is in the fourth house of Jupiter...
WHAT A DOUCHEBAG.
Just my two cents.

Just my two cents. | He already choked Machida out...was 2 weeks away from fighting Hendo when Hendo pulled out....Cromier is a HW, in another org. Might want to check the mirror for douchebags before callin others out for it.

Response to SUPE:
He publicly STATED that a Machida rematch wouldn't draw enough PPV numbers to interest him.
He publicly STATED that Hendo "dodged a bullet" and was "too old".
He publicly STATED that Cormier isn't well known enough.
How's YOUR mirror looking?
P.S. This is a forum to express personal opinions. If you don't like mine... that is FINE! Call me a douche when you're safely hidden behind an avatar and a fake name... that just makes you a pussy.
Just my two cents.

Just my two cents. | Fact is he fought Machida, was prepared to fight Hendo (and apparently thinks he would maul him if they did fight) and has stated he doesn't want to fight a relatively unknown fighter, in another weight class, in another org. There are plenty of reasons to think Jones is a douche without creating ones that make you seem stupid.
P.S. I'd point out the irony of you calling someone a pussy for calling you a douche behind an avatar...in response to you calling the LHW champ a douche behind your avatar...if i thought you knew was irony was.
Just my buck o'five...douche.

He fought in the UFC during the dark ages and was coming off a KO loss to Joe Lauzon and got the coaching gig due to his feud with Penn.
Cormier is the wrestling coach of AKA and has coached the wrestling squad at the international level. He would probably be the FIRST actual coach on TUF. And BTW, he was Koscheck's wrestling coach on TUF as well, so he has some exposure.
The UFC is very good at marketing and I'm sure they wont have a problem hyping a guy like Cormier, especially with him having wins over Monson, Silva, and Barnett. And he is more of class act than JJ.

I don't want to see Jones coach Tuf unless his arm is jacked and he is out for a while. Would be cool to see Jones vs Cormier at a non title catch weight.
