Geez, it could just be me - and it could be me - but from this interview it almost looks like GSP isn't sold on the Silva Superfight. Can we put this to bed until he reverses his stance?

Also interesting that after first stating the pound-for-pound "doesnt really exist" he then puts Frankie Edgar near the top of the list..

Nope because contrary to popular believe GSP has told reporters that he wants to fight Silva however his immediate focus is on the task at hand. GSP vs Silva isn't happening if he can't beat Condit and to overlook him would not only be disrespectful it would be very unwise on his part.

If GSP wins this superfight is happening. Dana will once again remind hardcore fans if you don't want to see this fight then don't buy it.

Look it really doesn't matter whose fighting Silva next because they are likely getting TKOd anyways. Everyone looks like they belong in the ring with Silva until the fight happens.

Dude... are you really telling me that you know what GSP is thinking better than he does? Like really really?

Please point out whereabouts in that article - which is to the best of my knowledge the most up-to-date interview with GSP - where exactly he expresses interest in fighting Silva.

Dana can promise whatever he likes. Dana says a lot of things. Feel free to continue to talk like GSP vs. Silva is a fait accompli. Personally, I'll be waiting til its announced.

And yeah, if this fight happened, Silva winning by TKO would surprise precisely no-one. Silva is the most successful 185lber on the planet, and has destroyed every opponent he has faced at 205 so far.

So, obviously, the logical extension to this is that he should pick a fight with a welterweight...no, wait, that doesnt sound right...
