Uhh it's an mma forum dude, with a bunch of hardcore fans that like to watch actual competitive fights and like to watch guys actually earn their title shots.

I don't think it's going to be that detremental to my life that I'm spending a few minutes typing up my disapproval about what is probably the most undeserved title shot in history.

Sorry but "shutting up and tuning out" Isn't exactly the way I like to go about doing things.

An MMA forum is usually better when everyone is discussing an MMA fight. Although we do talk about ALOT of different things on here other than MMA. How about we just talk about the fight? The UFC provides 80% of the MMA we watch. They don't care about who earns title shots so don't care about their titles. They have the biggest roster of the best fighters on the planet. Lets just enjoy watching guys fight.

Oh and you're not an MMA fighter so when you view MMA on tv your are tuning out the rest of the world to be entertained.

I guess I am crazy and this makes a lot of sense.

1. money
2. Dana loves it when fighters want it so cheap naturally earns brow ie points here.
3. Dana doesn't like or get it when fighters opt out. Shogun and machida both have said no, maybe good reason but still, and Henderson has had the only a title shot mentality which never seems to work out. So all these guys lose points.
4. When a fighter gets dominated in a title fight Dana is really slow it seems to give another shot unless he has to. Ie Fitch.
5. The lhw division is Kim da a mess. The constant cycle of familiar faces at the top has been a thorn in the ufc's side I think. This allows allows maybe guys like glover and goose to get more hype behind them.
6. Tuf needs a boost and sonnet will give it the kimbo slice effect. I'm sorry but Hendo, machida, or shogun wouldn't do much for the show.

Ok so I don't get why Hendo hasn't got a second thought. Seems like he is a lhw Fitch that just isn't in Dana's good graces for one reason or another. I am not saying sonnet deserves a title shot but this isn't nfl or the likes that its only based on a fighters record.

I haven't always agreed withe fights the UFC has put together but they usually have some sense behind their choices. I fully believe that through all of this I will thoroughly enjoy the fight and the journey it will be to get there.

Mini rant sone......please continue complaining

Yea cause money laundering and mortgage fraud makes this a terrible fight, you need to lay off the sonnen hateraid for a minute and not let your hate for sonnen affect your judgement.

I remember when everyone was shit talking jones for not taking this fight in the first place, now the fight is happening and everyone (minus a few) are bitching and complaining.

Sakara was right about everyone reacting like 15 year old girls.

Im going to assume that 99% of the people complaining on this thread are still going to tune into TUF, still buy / watch the PPV and enjoy every minute of it...but will still find something to complain about after its all said and done
