The former PRIDE champ said he's healthy and would step up on short notice to save an event like his former training partner and friend Anderson Silva recently did.

"Two names that I'm thinking I want to fight right now are (Vitor) Belfort and (Chael) Sonnen," Silva today told MMAjunkie.com Radio (MMAjunkie.com Radio | MMAjunkie.com). "They are good fights for me."

Anderson Silva moved up in weight on short notice to fight Stephan Bonnar at this past Saturday's UFC 153 in his native Brazil and delivered a first-round knockout via a knee to the body.

While Sonnen (28-12-1 MMA, 6-5 UFC) is already booked to bulk up for a meeting with light heavyweight Forrest Griffin (19-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) at UFC 155, which takes place Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, Belfort is just a few weeks removed from a short-notice title shot against light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones at UFC 152.

Belfort (21-10 MMA, 10-6 UFC), who was scheduled to fight middleweight Alan Belcher UFC 153 before the shakeup, injured Jones with an armbar but succumbed to an americana submission in the fourth round.

Silva said he can drop to 185 pounds if need be, or fight at light heavyweight.

"I think I can be ready in one month if the UFC needs some guy to help the event," he said. "I'm eating really good. I'm healthy right now. I go to sleep at 11 p.m., wake up at 6 a.m., and drink my coffee."
