Hughes shoulda went out with a monster slam followed by a rear naked farm boy choke. Randy shoulda ended it by toppling a giant. Cro Cop shoulda kicked someone's head off, and kept it as a retirement present. I could go on, but the point is that some people deserve to go out in a particular way, but it rarely happens. I always root for those people to get what they deserve, and you can be damn sure I'm rooting for Forrest & Bonnar to swing for the fences for 15-25 minutes, with both standing at the end. It's just the right thing.

Sonnen should be fighting Forest for his lhw debut and JJ should be fighting Hendo.....

i dont know im having mixed feelings, i dont want these guys to have needless brain damage in their going out party, i thought foorest wanted to make another run and bonnar could do it if he wanted, and of course no one not even the originators could top the first fight

Very little interest in this fight, it's fun but I was really interested in seeing Forrest/Sonnen; I think Forrest is more interesting against a wrestler than a striker at this point of his career. And I would love to see Bonnar/Page (though maybe not now that Glover/Page is likely to happen). Overall, I just don't see a need for trilogies where there aren't implications to the win, isn't a rubber match, whatever.
That said, I hadn't heard about Griffin and Bonnar volunteering to live in the house. I absolutely would watch that season!

Chael could fight Rich that would be about the same in terms of sales, and meaning (if Rich is still fighting lhw or catch weight). I stand by Forrest-Bonnar, neither one is gonna get a title shot so what's wrong with a fun fight? Yes I think it will be fun.

I figured Bonnar/Maldonado would get matched up..Feed Forrest to Glover.

I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.
