oh, and since dana states "this is the fight that the fans want to see", perhaps we should get a poll going?
honestly, i think that the whole thing stems from the fox deal. imo, the fox deal has spread the product too thin,.......too many ppv's, too many fx and fuel cards. mix that with injured fighters you have a weak sealling point with all of these cards. they are doing WAY too many tuf seasons in one year. i honestly think that the fox deal is the worste thing that has happened to the ufc. it wasnt until then that these kind of business decisions were being made, and seem so ever necessary by the zuffa goons.

Who wants to see Jones vs Sonnen??? Who exactly??
People that have a little bit of an idea of what is MMA, know that this match is one of the most senseless in UFC history. Jones vs Machida, Hendo, SHogun, Gustafson, Teixeira, Davies would make waaay more sense than this Bullshit of Jones vs Sonnen.
Dana does not has any argument to defend his stupid decision. And all he can do (as always) is to call people idiot because they understand that this is an extremely ridiculous match up.
Instead of saying "Idiots on the Internet do not know what the fuck they are talking about. We know how to make business and yada yada" he should say "This match makes sense because of this, this, this and this". But he has really no legit arguments at all!!!
"Oh when we knew that Jones would be out for a long time we realized that this match was the perfect option" I mean....WTF?????????
Isn't the UFC suppossed to be a serious Org? Then why in the hell they make fights like Maldonado vs Teixeira, Bonnar vs Silva, Jones vs Vitor, Jones vs Sonnen??
What is going to be next?? Dave Batista vs JDS for the belt?
Stefan Struve vs Demetrius Johnson? Bob Sapp vs Kimbo?
