Today on a media call to announce the casting of Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen as coaches for the next Ultimate Fighter, an executive from the FX network, Chuck Safter, revealed that the show will move to another day of the week.
The show has been broadcast on Fridays for the first two seasons on FX, but ratings have been lower than expected. The actual new day the show will broadcast is expected to be announced in the next thirty to forty-five days.
Safter warned that Spike better 'watch it's ass' and they expect good ratings for the best casted TUF ever. It is likely that a better time slot and the casting of Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen will most certainly increase the ratings.

It was obvious when they killed the live format and kept it on Friday night that this season would do absolutely terrible.
Whats more exciting than a live fight on Friday night? A prerecorded fight on Friday night.
But Dana already knew that. He has all the answers and we don't know shit. Oh, and needless to say Fox executives are brilliant, but that's another topic altogether.

I really question the intelligence of the heads of Zuffa/FOX sometimes. They knew already that the ratings were low for TUF live on FX. So they changed it back to a more reality show fucus; which was a good decision. HOWEVER, they put fuckin Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson as coaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???? WTF??! NOBODY asked for that, no fans wanted to see them as coaches. They have very boring personalities, and this has been known for a long time.
Its been known for a long time that friday nights are a wasteland for ratings, yet the people at Fox keep putting their events and shows on friday nights. Its like they dont even want the product to succeed......
