^Another good one.
Hell, how about Dustin Hazelett? He almost finished Kos in their fight.
I would also say Joachim Hansen has more talent than his W-L record would show. He's really a well rounded fighter, and had one of the best fights ever with Eddie Alvarez. I believe he never really trained with many good fighters, though.

This thread has Hammerhouse written all over it. Coleman and Randleman had great careers but they could have been top of their division a lot longer if they had focused more on their weaknesses.

^Like focusing more on cardio instead of heavy lifting lol. Then they could have been lighter on their feet and not gassed out like they did.

As soon as I saw the thread name, Vera's name popped into my head. When you are a K-1 trials champion and multiple grapplers quest titles, you definitely are expected to deliver.
Other names were Denis Kang and Gouveia. The former had so much promise, that I am surprised his career turned out the way it did.

actually, thanks for the junie reference, I had forgotten all about him. Also, Ed Herman. Maybe I bought the self-promotion, but I always expected more out of him.

I disagree with Aleks Emelianenko because he has won most of his fights.
A different thing is that now he rarely fights, and when he does, it is against cans.

like has already been said brendon vera came into UFC like a storm then fell apart. I dont know what happened but I still think he has a lot more in there.
Anthony Johnson was another that had all the talent but sadly lacking in dicipline(maybe trying to fight 2 classes below what he should) but could have been so much more.
One I didnt see mentioned(maybe because he did manage to become SF champ) but I think Nat Marquart belongs on this list. In UFC he could always win to get to the top contender but then fell apart.
