| What fighter had the talent but couldn't turn that in to wins?
I was watching the Cyborg vs Diaz SF title fight and was thinking that Cyborg has/had all the making to be a contender with his vicious leg kicks, wildman brawling style ala Wandy, but never seemed to but it all together.
Who else out there can you think of?

Who else out there can you think of? | Vera - Never seemed to put it together
Big Country...he's good, but I feel if he committed himself and got to 205 he'd have a legitimate shot at that belt.
Mark Hunt - Always seemed to be on the cusp

I know he has had a good deal of success, but he could have been so much better...

David Terrell was crazy talented bu never made it very far. Dustin Hazelett almost knocked out Koscheck and had some of the best subs ever, but never really became a challenger. Jorge Gurgel too, he had a great ground game but refused to use it.

I'm going to refer to fighters that never reached their maximum potential:
Brandon Vera
Kevin Jackson
Paulo Filho
Jorge Santiago-too willing to stand and bang when unnecessary
Jeremy Williams
Semmy Schilt
Dan Lauzon
Ricco Rodriguez- Limitless potential had he have stayed on the right path
Hayato Sakurai
Tommy Speer
Karo Parisyan
Joe Riggs
Drew Fickett
