Yea smoking deffinetly puts me "in the zone", super focus and determined to get shit done. When it doesnt go my way I throw a hissy fit because I feel I should be able to do whatever I set my mind on, a bit fucked up I know lol. But Ive heard Joe Rogan say he gets very critical of himself when he smokes.

I find when I smoke, get focused and fail, I start nit picking everything I did and didnt do, then start wondering if I would've done the same thing sober...then I smoke another joint lol.

But yeah If im about to play a sport/take a test/do a job/watch any TV/Play Games/Listen to music/have sex/ do outdoor activities/ eat/ fucking jerk-off/drive etc etc Im probably smoking a joint, just finished one or am rolling one.

if you decide to smoke trees then get in the car. Those people certainly do need to be fined.

I disagree. I've ran 120' crane trucks all over Canada and been smoking the whole time. I drive and smoke whereever I got to go, If I had kids I obviously wouldnt smoke with them in the car, but while Blazed?..I guess we'll have to see when I get there lol.

But as far as "Oh I smoked a joint or 4, cant drive", I disagree. IMO an accident is just that, an accident. I can understand if you fell asleep or blanked out not paying attention because you were high. But If I smoked a joint, and was completley focused on the road and not getting into an accident, but dickhead in the van decides to run a redlight and T-bone me, what does that have to do with anything?

Heres an example/story. A buddy and I get finished doing a job at our big mall, we load up the crane truck and smoke a joint in the parking lot. When its time to go one of our riggers(a huge solid steel leg) came sliding out from underneath the truck and we took out a telephone pole. Thank god that was the only thing it hit, anybody walking in that section would've been dead.

Now immediatley I start flipping out at my rigger-guy, thinking he got baked and didnt do his job properly in securing the riggers. But What Happened what that the lock was so old and rusty that it just broke, just like that.

It was a legit accident that could've happen at anytime, flying down the highway murdering anything it hit. But was OUR weed smoking to blame. I think not. Accidents happen, weither sober or stoned, and sometimes theres no amount of precaution, it can still happen.

Matt Riddle: Marijuana makes me very nice - Mixed Martial Arts News

Matt Riddle has, uniquely in the modern era, spent his entire professional career in the UFC. Back in July when he was offered a fight vs. Chris Clements with just one week notice, he took it.

Riddle finshined Clements with an Arm Triangle at 2:02 of Round 3, earning Submission of the Night honors, and a total of $100,000.

However, Riddle is a medical marijuana user in Nevada, and failed to disclose that fact to the officials regulating the event. When a bllod test indicated usage of a prohibited recreational drug, the decision was changed to a No Contest. Riddle was also suspended for 90 days, but the announcement was approximately 90 days after the fight and applied retroactively, so the practical effect was negligible.

In an interview with MMAMania following his win over John Maquire at UFC 154 on Saturday, Riddle riffed on reefer and regulation.

"If you ask me I'm 8-3. I'm not 7-3-1, I'm 8-3," sadi Riddle. "And if you watch the tape I don't think you'd argue with that. You know I dropped him with a liver kick, I hit him with a standing arm-triangle and you know, it was a very dominant performance.

"I think it's really unfortunate they took a hard-earned win from me that I took on a week's notice and I did everything in my power to pass that drug test, I've never failed a drug test in my life until that day and that was never my intention. So it does suck, but at the same time I'll never forget that win. It was a great experience, a great feeling and I made $100,000 in one night, so you tell me who's the winner if that's a no contest."

"The UFC had me take a test before I got here, last Friday and Monday and I passed both those tests. They were not taking a chance and they said if I failed that test they probably would have pulled me from the card.

"So I passed that test and that's what it is and you know, in the future I mean I know all these guys are taking testosterone and all that and they have medical releases, and I'm hoping maybe I can talk to a commission or talk to somebody and maybe get the rules changed."

I may be wrong, but didn't Riddle step up on short notice for this fight? Maybe he misjudged the time it would take to get it out of his system. Not condoning it, but just curious.
