I doubt he'll ever get to Andersons level, Im doubtful anyone will tbh. But I would like to see him get more one-shot KOs, nothing wrong with those lol.
Im one of those guys that's on the fence with Jones. I absolutley respect his skills, hes a fucking beast to go through the guys he has and the way he has. But I dont like his personality at all. So im watching hoping he losses, but when he wins in devastating fashion, im like " Fuck this guy's good" lol. Which has been alot lately.
So if hes going to stick around as champ Id like to see him start getting more One Shot Kos for sure, why not. He'll never get to Andersons level though. Never.

Even when Silva was Jones' age, he was a different kind of striker. He'd stand at the end of guys punches with his hands down, instantly countering and fucking people up. He's just a totally different animal, and Silva today is so much better then even the Silva that fought Hendo or Cote years ago.
I'd really like to see Jones against some HW's. Take away some of that reach, add some power, then really see what he's got.
People would criticise him in the past for being too wild, now he is too "conservative"... He has really tightened up his game... He is harder to hit and is up on his p and q's now... but it will be years before this becomes a legitimate discussion.

Jones is for sure one hell of a fighter, but technically he is extremely far from Anderson's striking.
Also, when Jones drops his hands and dodges all of his opponent punches using just head movement then we can begin to compare those 2.
Jones may definitely be a much better wrestler than Anderson, for sure he is bigger and stronger, but in the striking he is still very far from Silva.

I didnt watch the Vitor fight, but Ive seen the rest. Im not impressed. Anderson is an impressive striker. Thiago Alves is an impressive striker. Jose Aldo is a terribly impressive striker. Machida is a very impressive striker. When Jones shows a skill level like that, then you can sing his praises. Until then, take those tunnel vision glasses you're wearing off, and look at the world around you.
It's kind of strange..Bones,Tito,Chuck...The three greatest lhw champs of UFC's history.
I dont think I have seen any of the 3 one punch KO someone.

I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.
