RFA 4 Update: Efrain Escudero-Tyson Griffin Named New Nov. 2 Headliner

Former UFC talents Efrain Escudero and Tyson Griffin will headline the Resurrection Fighting Alliance’s upcoming fourth event.

Promotion officials recently announced the lightweight bout will serve as the RFA 4 headliner after Gilbert Yvel, who was supposed to face Marcio Cruz in the evening’s main event, withdrew from the show. Cruz will remain on the bill, now locking horns with Joe Yager on the main card. RFA 4 takes place Nov. 2 at Texas Station in Las Vegas and marks the Nebraska-based promotion’s first trip to Sin City. The show is expected to air live on AXS TV.

In the evening’s co-main event, welterweight prospect Chidi Njokuani will face “Filthy” Phil Dace, while Fredson Paixao meets Lance Palmer in a featherweight pairing that came about after original opponents Alessandro Ferreira and Nick Macias were scratched from the card due to injury.

Sergio Pettis is also on this card as well I believe. Good looking card tonight. Like Chidi and Palmer.

I hope Tyson can get back on track. His fights with Guida and Frankie are some of my favorites to have ever watched. He's got all the tools, just never came together. I think a change of camp would be good for him, if he's still primarily located out of Xtreme Couture.

He trains at Xtreme Couture when he's in Vegas, but he's primarily training out in the bay area now at places like AKA

Just a reminder that this card is on AXS tonight and is loaded with talent, should be a REALLY great night.

Two former future UFC LW title contenders. Should be a good match.

Chidi looked very good and when he makes it to the UFC I can all ready hear Joe saying this kid has some of if not the best striking in the UFC.
Sergio looked very good as well. His face does not seem able to hold up to much damage and could mean some stoppages in that could be wins for him.

Yeah, I really wasn't impressed by Sergio all too much, he looked solid but comes off as too slight for his division, he has to come inside alot and will get touched up.

And you're bang on, his face looked wrecked after the fight, but I think that has alot to do with the fact that he was just eating jabs all night.

Cruz's sub was sick as hell, even though it was one of the dullest fights of the night until that point...

Had Sergio been fighting someone with out the size advantage i think it would have made his skill set look better than it did but i still say he has got the ability to let fighting be his career
