I can just imagine that Dana has a room that looks just like Tony Montana's home office, down to the very last detail......He probably sits in the chair and re-enacts the last scene whenever someone pisses him off....

My favorite part of this thread is that pretty much everyone bashed Dana for spending a lot but conveniently ignored commenting on his generous tipping. When DW tips 10K, that 10K isn't going to a guy who's making 100+K a year, it's to a guy who's making barely above minimum wage. I'm not too well versed on american service staff income, but that could be a good 20-20% of your annual income in one night.

Dana White is rich. Being that he is rich, he spends alot of money frivolously.
America has become Ayn Rand's sloppy wet dream. Hard to comprehend that?

They might get paid miminum wage but their wage is a very small part of their income. Not to say it isn't very generous but they are far from living like a chili's waitress.

Who cares.
He takes care of them, their staff and fills their hotel with bodies during events. Cutting his line is BS and the employees should be more pissed than anyone else.
I'm not DW supporter but if what I have heard is correct, I'm fine with it.

I'm not DW supporter but if what I have heard is correct, I'm fine with it. | It would depend upon how he is using that line. If he is abusing it such as not paying it in a timely manner etc.. they would be justified in cutting it back. Perhaps if they are struggling they just can't afford that much credit out right now.
I doubt as a business they made this kind of decision lightly knowing that there would be after effects. I'm inclined to think they had good reason for doing so.

It's takes a certain type of individual to find negatives in people spending and spreading their money around. It really doesn't matter where these waitress/waiters work, if someone is not in there to purchase their product they don't have a job. And I'm guessing that those generous tips makes a major difference in their lives. I'd also wager a $1 that he is very generous in other places of business as well.
The comparison of fighters pay, DW's pay, his tips, and the UFC's profits are a seperate opinion from my above opinoin.
Lastly, I tend to agree with Dana Whites mother that all the fame and money has tainted his character. Now maybe before all this success he acted like a teen girl who doesn't get her way, but now it's out for everyone to see. Look at earlier interviews when he come into the UFC much skinnier and spoke a bit more professional.

| Report says Maloofs are struggling to keep Palms Casino resort Report says Maloofs are struggling to keep Palms Casino resort :InsideHoops
Published January 8, 2012 Quote:
In a possible sign of fresh financial turmoil for the owners of the Kings, the Maloof family is reportedly struggling to hold onto the other key piece of its business empire: the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Two private investment firms that hold most of the Palms’ debt are negotiating to acquire a controlling interest in the trendy casino, according to a report by Bloomberg news service.
The firms got into position to take control after the Palms violated the terms of its loans, Bloomberg reported.
George Maloof, who runs the Palms, and his brother Joe, who oversees the Kings, declined to comment on the report.
But the family acknowledges that the Palms has struggled in the past two years. George Maloof said last fall that the Palms was restructuring its debt.
“We’re getting through it,” he said.
| Sounds like The Palms has bigger problems than Dana's unpaid dinner bill.
