UFC President Dana White participated in a live Facebook chat via Metro PCS. Here are some of the highlights of that call, and some are very interesting topics!

Dana White: I’m into women’s MMA now. We’ll see what happens.

Dana White: Of course we’re going to resign Anderson Silva after the last fight on his contract. We will resign Anderson Silva and soon.

Dana White: We tried to get Fedor and he is absolutely retired. He won’t fight anymore.

Dana White: I guarantee you Anderson Silva vs Jon Jones will absolutely happen.

Dana White: Andrei Arlovski will have to beat someone really good to get back to the UFC.

Dana White: The 185 pound division is very exciting right now. I don’t know who’s next for Anderson yet. We’re waiting because he possibly wants to fight Georges St. Pierre. We’ll see what happens.

Dana White: To say GSP vs Anderson Silva doesn’t make sense, doesn’t make sense. Anderson Silva can fight Georges St. Pierre and Jon Jones. They both make sense.

Dana White: We’re doing 12 events in Brazil next year. I wish we could do Brazil every weekend. It’s Werdum and Big Nog the coaches for season two in Brazil.

Dana White: I don’t know what Mousasi’s deal is with Strikeforce.

Dana White: Yes, we’re definitely coming back to Boston. I’ve been working on that lately. We’ll be coming back in 2013.

Dana White: We’re gonna do it (Joe Rogan’s podcast) someday.

Dana White: We’ve talked about Tyrone Spong. We’ll see what happens.

Dana White: The first day of filming was interesting with TUF between Jones and Sonnen.

Dana White: I called Dan Henderson the day before yesterday. He doesn’t even know how his knee feels yet or if it’s 100 percent yet. He’s not healthy yet.

Dana White: Anything is possible if Ronda and Cyborg end up coming to the UFC (coaching TUF)

Dana White: I don’t think Jon Jones has any interest in going to heavyweight right now.

Dana White: UFC on Fox 5 sold out already. I’m very excited for it.

Dana White: Nick Diaz has to get through his suspension and get relicensed before we think about who he’s fighting or what he’s doing.

Dana White: Irish event in 2014 I promise.

Dana White: Yes Fedor is one of the greatest heavyweights ever. Is he one of the greatest mixed martial artists ever? You’re out of your mind.

Dana White: We’ve got a fight planned for Cowboy Stadium but it’s not Jon Jones vs Chael.

Dana White: Ariel Helwani is a pain in the ass. He’s always texting me asking me shit.

Dana White: TUF Mexico is coming soon. We’re working on Mexico hard.

Dana White: Yes we’re scouting Indian talent.

Dana White: 170 and 155 are the deepest divisions right now.

Dana White: Yeah I love Columbus. It was always a great city for us. We’ll come back soon.

Dana White: Yes Bonnar will be retiring now.

Jon Jones: I killed Chael in picking my team.

Jon Jones: Chael is not too bad. I thought he was gonna be all trash talk but he’s been pretty decent and pretty classy. It’s been a great show.

Jon Jones: I got Frank Mir for jiu jitsu, Bowman, Jon Woods, Bubba Jenkins

Jon Jones: I don’t hate Chael any more. He’s been okay. Maybe he’s setting me up for later.

Jon Jones rolls his eyes and points to Dana when he brings up Jones vs Anderson Silva

Jon Jones: I want to beat Chael at his own game. I want to take him down and pound him out. If he decides to stand up, I’ll kickbox the snot out of him.

Jon Jones: I’ll definitely move up to heavyweight probably around the end of 2013. I’ve got a nutritionist so my weight cuts have been easier. I walk around thinner.

Jon Jones: I’m not disappointed I didn’t get the Dan Henderson fight. I think it’s inevitable. He’s one of the greatest fighters in history. Hopefully I defeat Chael, defeat Dan Henderson and who knows what happens after that.

Dana White: Once I get my ear thing sorted out, I’ll do the video blogs again. I haven’t been in the mood lately.

Jon Jones: GSP vs Anderson Silva will definitely be one of the greatest fights of all time. GSP has all the tools to beat Anderson SIlva. he has the wisdom on the feet and he’s got one of the fastest double legs with the best timing in MMA. Anderson is on the level of greatness.

Jon Jones: GSP is a winner and Carlos is on my team right now. He’s working extremely hard to beat GSP. He’s a champion from WEC and UFC. He’s just a champion. I have no comment on who I think will win it.

Dana White: I highly doubt we’ll see Batista in the UFC.

Dana White: We plan on bringing Eddie Alvarez to the UFC. We’ll see what happens.

Jon Jones: I like Gustafsson.

Dana White: How can you say Anderson Silva would duck anybody (reference two Weidman). Believe me, he ain’t ducking anybody.

Jon Jones: I still don’t like Dana. It was very hard to reconcile. (joking)

Dana White: Fabio Maldonado is doing better. He’s tough.

Jon Jones: Cormier is a better wrestler than me but it’s not a wrestling match.

Chael Sonnen: I’m absolutely strong enough to hold a stadium show. I was jealous of St. Pierre and Shields 55,000 in Toronto.

Chael Sonnen: I did not attend Anderson Silva’s barbecue

Chael Sonnen: I think Jon’s a pretty good guy.

Chael Sonnen: The chicken Jones pizza is for sale right now in West Lynn. It’s actually quite delicious

Chael Sonnen: I haven’t spoke to Dan since the fight got accepted. Yes I talked my way into this fight but the word I used was “yes” by accepting it. There aren’t many people that want to fight Jones other than me.

Some interesting quotes from Dana, Jones and Sonnen. Anyone else surprised that Jones says he likes sonnen all of a sudden? I think we are going to see just how strong Jones mental game is duirng the full season of TUF not just one film session.

Strange that Jones and Sonnen seemed to get along so well, I mean seriously well. Maybe Sonnen stopped doing his little character acting during the day; decided to be real, and they actually got along.

I asked Dana why he has been making so many freakshows lately, and that fans want to see Jones vs Hendo/Machida and anyone knows that Jones will decapitate Sonnen.

I also asked if Chael Sonnen would receive a title shot against JDS after he gets destroyed by Jones.

Dana obviously ducked both questions.

On a positive note I am filled with a warm euphporic tingle after reading this(will watch video when not AT WORK) , there are just so many exciting prospects. JJ at HW is particularly interesting to me as he has damn near cleaned out his div. Whoe else is there? Dan , Gus , and Glover? If they stay winning I'd like that to be JJ's 2013 lineup before HW.
Fuckin Eddie Alvarez? Hell to tha yeah that mofo is always up for an entertaining scra[p and would be a killer addition to the LW roster which is already great.

Good to hear Mousasi is at least on their radar. If he comes over I would much prefer to see him at MW instead of LHW, just too many big guys that IMO could muscle him around on the ground ala' king mo.

I'd LOVE to see Rousey Cyborg as a co-main event on a really good PPV . Great fight and perfect way to gauge the masses feel for WMMA.
