| What Fight Made Them a Legend?
Of all the Legends of MMA and the Hall of Famers(and future Hall of Famers)
What Fight in YOUR mind do you think made the "Constantly Ass Whooping Fighter" an official LEGEND of the Sport?
ANDERSON SILVA: When he went back up to 205 for a 2nd time to fight Forrest Griffin. When he KO'ed Forrest with a Jab while backpedaling I knew right then and there this guy is going to be a Legend of the sport.
FEDOR: Probably at PRIDE when he fought CroCop and actually made CroCop look unsure of himself for the 1st time. That fight is phenomenal.
RANDY COUTURE: His record stands at 19W/11L, so he's definitely had his ups and downs. But the fight for me that said this guy is a whole other breed of a mans man is when he came back out of retirement to whoop the shit out of Tim Sylvia.
[feel free to add more names, I'm just starting with a small list to get the ball rollin']

FEDOR: It was definitely the Crocop fight.
By far the greatest HW fight ever. People were actually cheering more for Crocop than for Fedor. But after his victory, Fedor inmediately became a huge fan favorite and that fight was IMO the most important of his career.
And it is still extremely early to call him a Legend, but I began considering Cain velasquez a very serious fighter after his destruction of Ben Rothwell.
He lost to JDS (And I hope he loses again), but before the Rothwell fght I considered Cain to be just a guy that looks like an evil version of Shogun Rua with a suspect chin.

GSP : The 2nd Hughes fight. It was a kicking clinic IMO. The way he kept throwing the leg kick, then when Hughes checked it he went under the leg to the far leg to take the legs away from Hughes and then Hughes was so concerned about the leg kicks that GSP went high with the kick and dropped Matt for the GnP finish ! A great coming if age fight too for GSP after the initial loss to Hughes

Couture would definitely be the first Chuck fight. It made him the first fighter to capture a UFC belt at 2 weight classes.
For Frank Shamrock: the Tito fight

Matt Hughes: Battling back from adversity to stop Frank Trigg, twice. Legendary performances.

To comment on Anderson Silva...for me the fight was his first against Franklin...that dropped my jaw.
Wandy...his destruction of Rampage twice but esp (the second fight I think) when he left Rampage unconscious hanging in the ropes.

HOSS-Bork, you should spend more time brushing up on your MMA history, and less time complementing guys on how young their penises taste.

Hendo: I think him KO'ing Wandy propelled him to a new level.

LYOTO: The fight against Rashad. Both undefeated at that time and it was the fight after he KO'ed Thiago Silva. I was very nervous for this fight. But when Machida KO'ed Evans the way he did, I knew from there on he would be a force to be reckoned with. Quote: |

Frankie Edgar: Edgar-Maynard 2, I was/am a Maynard fan, and I was not a Frankie fan, but man as that fight went on I started to think that Edgar isn't human. He is now my second favorite fighter just behind hendo. Nobody has the heart that Frankie Edgar does.
