Georges St. Pierre ESPN 'E 60' full episode to promote UFC 154 comeback

After more than 18 months on the sidelines, Georges St. Pierre will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon to battle Carlos Condit for the undisputed welterweight championship in the UFC 154 main event on Nov. 10, 2012. This is his six-minute story as told through the lens of ESPN's "E:60" mini-documentary series.

The "E:60" episode opted to pursue the perseverance angle, illustrating the French-Canadian's lifelong work ethic and pursuit of perfection born out of an imperfect and tormented childhood growing up amidst bullies in Saint-Isidore, Ontario, Canada.

We're even treated to a schoolyard re-enactment, indicating that St. Pierre still carries the emotional scars that put him on his current career path.

St. Pierre emerged from those dark days to become one of the best MMA fighters the sport has ever seen. And when he steps back inside the Octagon to face Carlos Condit in the UFC 154 main event in front of a raucous hometown crowd, "Rush" intends to demonstrate that all the hard work he's put in to rehabilitate his shredded knee, will bear familiar (and successful) results.
