“There’s been a lot of animosity between us and I can’t wait to punch the guy in the face,” said Carwin in an interview with Inside MMA.
| Quote:
“Roy is one to talk behind your back a lot or when you’re not there. When I’m there he wants to shake my hand and ask me about UFC contracts. I’m like I don’t even want to talk to you man, get away from me.
“As soon as you’re away, there he is talking about you again or talking behind your back,” he concluded.

confirming he injured his knee as previously reported and still wasn’t 100% yet.
“Yeah, I mean its bad,” Carwin admitted. “I have some partially torn ligaments and tendons, but I’m pretty positive in my strength and conditioning coach and I have faith in them to get me back to full strength.”
Though telling an opponent about weaknesses isn’t typically seen as a smart thing to do, Carwin isn’t bothered about Nelson knowing the extent of his injury.
“I’ve recently thought a lot about this. I used to never let this stuff get out, but to me now a days it doesn’t really matter to me what they know, because I am going to go out there and fight him,” offered the confident Carwin. “If he goes for my knee I will knock him out then.”

I hope we see the old Shane Carwin... not "an old" Shane Carwin...
If he is on point. He TKO's Nelson... Roy wont be able to take him down... and as strong as Nelson's chin is, Carwins power is impressive...
I also think Shane can get Roy down and do some good GNP... his GNP is legit... Nelson isnt the most dangerous grappler off his back... When he is on top is when he is dangerous...

Yes Shane, Roy is talking about you behind your back. Those are called "interviews". What do you expect Roy to do when a reporter asks him a question about Carwin? Roy is too smart to be caught going for Carwin's knee directly. I still think Roy wins convincingly.

I hope Carwin takes this impressively. I never really had anything against Nelson until this season of tuf. He's a real tool.

He's a real tool. | That whole deal about Roy telling Dana that a fighter didn't make weight AFTER the fight was over and coincidentally it was his fighter who lost, was pretty pathetic. I don't think he would have opened his mouth if his fighter won and I'm pretty confused about why something wasn't said AT the weigh ins? To me that showed that Roy is a cheater plain and simple.
I think Roy vs. Shane will be a brawl. They both have granite chins and both have cement blocks for fists so who knows. I think the biggest advantage could be in Roy's favor if Carwin shows up with no gas in his tank. Other than that, I think Carwin wins.

Drawing straws? What the hell is that? He's the worst coach since Shamrock.
