The UFC has retained an independent drug-testing laboratory to screen fighters for performance-enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse at next week's UFC on FUEL TV 6 card in Macau.
Additionally, UFC officials confirmed that no therapeutic-use exemptions were granted to any fighter on the UFC on FUEL TV 6 card.
Featuring a headlining matchup of Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le, UFC on FUEL TV 6 takes place Nov. 10 at CotaiArena at Macau's Venetian Macau Resort Hotel. The evening's main card airs on FUEL TV following prelims that are expected to stream on Facebook.
The UFC frequently hires outside firms to conduct drug testing for international shows, where athletic commissions often aren't available. Most recently, UFC officials oversaw "UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar," which took place in Rio de Janeiro. Testing results for that show have not yet been returned to the promotion.
