Unfortunately I didn't catch most of the fights but from what I saw, I really liked the atmosphere, the announce team, etc.
Damn Tyrone Spong's striking looked great. Funny how he walked off after the ko, he said it was a mistake because he's accustomed to doing it in k1.

Can't judge sprong off that performance. He is with a good camp so that is good, but they picked an old tough boxer for him to fight. Can't wait to see him fight an mma guy.
Anthony Johnson ko was awesome. DJ linderman is tough as shit and Anthony Johnson straight waxed him.
Miguel torres did not look good. He has to start getting fights to the ground if he is going to continue to fight.
AA looked good and did what he was supposed to against a tough guy.
I liked the production. Not sure about the no elbows. Love Bas as a commentator.

Agree about the no elbows. Torres is just another victim of MMA passing him by. His 2 biggest deficiencies, imo, are his wrestling and footwork and they were always masked by his reach, BJJ, and (used to be) aggressiveness. He has problems with technical, athletic strikers with good sub d and wrestling. I think last night was more about how good Moraes is. I don't think Miguel has lost anything other than his fearlessness. I personally don't like Rumble or think he's that good but that was an impressive KO over a proven tough guy. Cole looked like he gave up. Luckily for him, he did it during a weekend that included Hale/Santos.

Torres looked bad but lets not discredit his opponent who also looked good and threw some nice kicks.
Johnson's ko was nice but I think he needs a step up in competition.
Arlovski looked good and I'll always be a fan but his best days are behind him imo.
As for the no elbows rule, I don't like it. Its not much of a deal breaker for me but it would hamper a lot of wrestlers's style and would probably make Jon Jones nothing since he relies heavily on elbows.

^^^agree
Yeah Sprong shouldn't get the best in the world for his first fight, but it would be nice to see him get a guy with some sort of complete mma game. Although I would be happy to see him punch/kick a few more cans.
As for AJ not sure who is out there that they could pick up for him to face?

Anthony Johnson looked good. It's crazy how he is so big at LHW and just last year he was fighting at WW!!! The KO was great but really his kicks were what impressed me the most. I want to see him face some tougher competition.
Torres fight depressed me, that's all I can say. His opponent looked good, Torres looked like shit.

What about joey beltran? Is he still with the UFC? | Yvel and Beltran would also just stand with Spong, excellent opponents because they have some recognition but we need to see Spong's grappling skills.
